Federal shipper data · Public FMCSA records

Federal-shipper carrier association records

Motor carriers observed in roadside inspections in connection with federal and public-sector freight (USPS, US Military / Department of War, Department of Energy and nuclear sites, DHS, defense contractors, the intelligence community, and federal civilian agencies). Private commercial logistics companies such as FedEx are intentionally excluded from this section and remain searchable in the main shipper database. Records reflect historical carrier associations and inspection-derived operational context — not legal conclusions, fault determinations, or fitness ratings.

Data freshnessThis page is powered by the most recent roadside inspection-derived records available in the TEA Supabase backend. Users should verify records against official FMCSA source systems before relying on them for legal, operational, or underwriting decisions.
Methodology noteShipper names in FMCSA roadside inspection records are free text typed by the inspector. TEA matches every distinct spelling nightly against a reviewed allowlist of federal, military, nuclear and contractor name patterns (with exclusions for look-alike private companies) and rolls the matches up per carrier. Inspection records carry no commodity or broker fields, so associations describe who was observed hauling for a shipper, not what was on the trailer.
